The Modern American School was thrilled to host the first PTA meeting of the 2014/2015 school year. The PTA at MAS is a great way to keep parents informed, involved, and to give them a voice on important matters taking place inside the school. Research has shown that kids do better when parents are involved. Grades are higher. Test scores improve. Attendance increases.
The first PTA meeting took place on November 17th. During the meeting, parents were given presentations by administrators from different sections. These presentations included introductions by the administration, information on the school accreditation, updates on the gym renovations, and more. We truly appreciate our PTA members taking the time out of their day to share their insight and help us to make MAS a better place!
