The Modern American School organized its Ramadan Drive a month before the start of Ramadan, with the entire MAS community coming together to ensure its success. Students embarked on various distribution rounds across Jordan, aiming to reach as many needy families as possible.
The first round took place in Al Talibieh Refugee Camp, a 45-minute drive from our beloved school. Our students witnessed firsthand the impact of our efforts in providing essential aid to those in need. In the second round, Middle and High School students visited a remote area called Zizya, where families lived in tents and faced abject poverty. This experience left a profound impression on our students, emphasizing the importance of gratitude and the privilege of giving back to society through our donations.
As students reflected on MAS Ramadan Drive, they felt thankful for what they have and grateful for the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others. The spirit of generosity and compassion that permeated our community during this initiative truly embodied the essence of Ramadan.
