Uniforms
Students attending the Modern American are required to wear a uniform daily. The school uniform requirements are as follows:
- Grades KG-8: Black Shoes with Gray Pants
- Grades 9-12: Black or Brown Shoes wth Khaki Pants
- White Shirt with Collar & Tie
- Black Jacket
Note: PE uniforms consist of shorts/sweatpants and a red MAS tee-shirt. Uniform materials can be purchased from the school bookstore, which is open daily.
Books
In addition to the uniform items, books and stationery for all grade levels are also available in the school bookstore.
Bus Schedules
Transportation to and from school is offered for all MAS students.
- The school buses for students in Grades 1-12 begin their rounds at 6:45 a.m.
- The buses for KG begin their rounds at 7:45 a.m.
After School Activities
Kindergarten
After school activities for KG students begin on Sunday 27/9/2021 and end on Thursday 25/11/2021. The schedule is as follows:

Elementary School, Middle School, and High School
Activities are classified as either general activities, sports activities inside school, or sports activities outside of school. All activities will take place each Saturday from 10:30 a.m. till 1:00 p.m. The bus rounds start at 9:30 a.m. and will return students home at 1:00 p.m. The activity schedule is as follows:

Travel Abroad
The Modern American School views world travel as a critical part of the student experience. Our trips abroad serve to strengthen the foreign language comprehension and expand the world knowledge of our students. Students have the opportunity to travel to Greece, Cyprus, France, Switzerland, Turkey, and the United States.
iPad/Laptop Policy
Students in grades KG through 6 must have iPads for use during lessons, and students in grades 7 through 12 must have laptops. Only authorized academic applications/programs are permitted to be installed.
