The Modern American School Model United Nations (MASMUN) was a huge success this year with over 350 participants from 20 private schools. The conference took place at the Modern American School on the first day and at St. Regis on the second and third days. The opening ceremony was under the patronage of HE Dr. Jawad Alanani, a Jordanian economist and politician with multiple high-ranking positions, who delivered an inspiring and engaging speech to the delegates. The feedback from the delegates and MUN directors was positive, as delegates described the conference as one of the biggest and most organized they had attended. This year's MASMUN theme was "The Eleventh Hour," addressing some of the most pressing global challenges of our time, ranging from climate change to nuclear war. The conference featured a plethora of committees that addressed various global issues, providing students with an excellent opportunity to improve their research, debate, and collaboration skills. Overall, MASMUN was a highly successful conference that left a lasting impact on all who attended.
