Student Performance Brought to Life The Canterbury Tales

Modern American School

The Canterbury Tales is a story of a group of travelers in Medieval Europe who set out on a pilgrimage to Canterbury, setting up a storytelling contest to pass the time. Giving the play due justice is not an easy task, but it is one that  our senior students in the English class took. Their take on the renowned play not only introduced a new and unique twist to the table, but also allowed each and every student to stand out much like the performers did when telling their stories. From their well-developed costumes to their engaging acting and comprehensive discussion of the themes, this performance immersed everyone into the overall context and is reflective of the skills that our senior students have developed over the past few years at the Modern American School, which is deserving of our admiration.
