Induction Program and Professional Development Workshops Mark the Start of New Academic Year

Induction Program

MAS has a comprehensive and ongoing Professional Development Program designed to promote teacher success and allow for administrators to implement the latest in pedagogical approaches to the academic curriculum prior to the commencement of the academic year. It starts with the Induction Program for support of new and first time teachers, as well as preparing seasoned educators with the latest trends in education. Our Induction Program goes beyond understanding student needs, class schedules, and curriculum modifications. It also includes professional development seminars, workshops, speaker series, training on affective use of technology in the classrooms, and a host of social events designed to promote a cohesive school community. That also includes information about the systems and processes that guide MAS, as well as the school's Vision and Mission that are an integral part of life at MAS.

Our Induction Program this year started in August and included engaging activities that are designed to develop and refine the professional knowledge and skills of our teachers. Our professional development program continues  throughout the school year to insure the continuity of the program and connectivity to real life practices.
