Spreading Care and Compassion: The 'Olive Oil, Thyme, and a Loaf of Bread' Campaign by MAS
A thoughtful initiative from the Modern American School family, the "Olive Oil, Thyme, and a Loaf of Bread" campaign was successfully carried out as a volunteer service. It was led by Grade 7 students, inspired by their study of the unit Returning to Haifa, and joined by high school students and MAS administrators and teachers.
This initiative embodies the traits of communication, empathy, and social responsibility, reinforcing the values of fairness while providing support to those deprived of their human rights. In collaboration with the Sanabel Khair Organization, the campaign distributed olive oil, thyme, and bread to underprivileged families in Al Hashmi Shamali.
