We were extremely excited to host our Parent Teacher Conference on Saturday, November 1st at MAS. These meetings were facilitated by the faculty members of our respective divisions and enabled parents to speak directly with teachers regarding their child’s academic progress. We at MAS aim to provide a comfortable and open environment for parents to ask questions and address concerns. Historically, these conferences have taken place immediately after report cards are given to the students.
Each of our buildings had special agendas, academic displays, and information regarding departmental events. Parents were invited to meet that staff and check in on the progress of their students with their teachers. Parents were given advice to help them better support their student throughout the year. We believe that no matter the age or grade level, individual meetings with teachers are a great way to remain connected and directly involved in the academic endeavors of your student.
We aim to provide multiple Parent-Teacher Conferences throughout the year to ensure that parents are kept informed about the current events at the school as well as the progress of their students. Additionally, we provide parents the opportunity to schedule appointments with teachers during the school week through our Student Affairs Office.
We look forward to seeing you at Modern American School!
